Morning Fun
The day begins with excitement as dogs head out into our spacious Terrigal play yards for morning social time. With plenty of room to run, chase, and explore, pups enjoy fresh coastal air, joyful zoomies, and friendly interactions under the watchful care of our experienced daycare team. Itâs the perfect way to start the day with movement, confidence, and connection.
Individual Attention & Training Options
Throughout the day, every dog receives individual attention, from gentle check-ins to cuddles and encouragement from our passionate Pet Nannies. For those looking to enhance their daycare experience, owners can add a dedicated training session with our trusted professional dog trainers. These positive, reward-based sessions support confidence, manners, and skill development in a calm, structured environment.
Rest & Recharge
After a busy morning, dogs return to their rooms for some well-earned rest. These quiet breaks are an essential part of the daycare routine, allowing dogs to recharge, self-regulate, and remain relaxed and comfortable throughout their stay.
Afternoon Explore
Re-energised and ready for more fun, dogs head back out for an afternoon play session. This time focuses on relaxed socialisation, gentle play, and exploration. On warmer days, dogs may enjoy a splash in our full-sized dog pool, adding an extra layer of enrichment and cooling fun to their Terrigal daycare experience.
Wind-Down

"We recently used Terrigal Pet Resort for the first time oversea trip with our dog Darbie, and as a very anxious (borderline over-the-top!) dog mum, I honestly couldnât have asked for a better experience. Leaving your dog for the first time is never easy, but the team were so incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodatingânot just to Darbie, but to me as well. They truly went above and beyond to make the whole experience feel comfortable and reassuring. A massive shoutout to Layla, who worked with Darbie on his training over the two weeks. The communication was absolutely amazingâregular updates, videos, and genuine care shown in every interaction. It made such a difference being able to see how he was going and how well he was being looked after. You can really tell this team loves what they do. "This place is amazing! My Labrador Millie stayed here for a month and it was her first time staying away from home. She was a little apprehensive and shy at the start, but the staff helped her through it and she settled in nicely. Her weekly postcards showed me she was having such a fun time and loved playing in the pool! It put my mind at ease to know she was so looked after. We require all dogs to be up-to-date with their vaccinations, including protection against common canine diseases. This is to ensure the health and safety of all our furry guests.

Absolutely! We welcome potential doggy daycare and pet boarding customers to tour our facilities by appointment.
Simply contact the resort location youâd like to visit to schedule a time.
During your tour, youâll be able to see where your dog will be spending their days and meet some of our caring staff.
Our trained staff are able to administer medications to pets during their stay. To ensure we can meet your petâs needs, please confirm medication requirements with the resort prior to booking.
All medications must be approved by our office team before check-in, and medication administration fees will apply.

We maintain a healthy staff-to-dog ratio to ensure each dog receives adequate supervision and care. The exact ratio varies depending on the number of dogs and their needs.
