Morning Fun
Morning play kicks off with plenty of excitement as dogs head out into our expansive outdoor play zones at Southern Highlands Doggy Daycare. With lots of room to run, chase, and enjoy joyful zoomies, dogs spend this time socialising with their daycare friends and burning off energy in a safe, supervised environment. Open space, fresh air, and positive group play create the perfect start to the day, helping dogs build confidence, friendships, and happy tail wags from the very first session.
Individual Attention
Throughout the day, every dog receives plenty of one-on-one care from our attentive, specialist Pet Nannies. From gentle check-ins and reassurance to cuddles and encouragement, our team takes the time to understand each dog’s personality, energy level, and social needs, ensuring they feel safe, settled, and supported.
Rest & Recharge
After a busy morning of play, dogs enjoy a well-earned rest period. These quiet breaks are an important part of our Southern Highlands doggy daycare routine, allowing dogs to recharge, regulate their energy, and remain calm and comfortable throughout the day.
Afternoon Explore
Refreshed and ready for more fun, dogs head back out for an afternoon play session focused on relaxed socialisation and exploration. With open space to move at their own pace, this time encourages gentle play, confidence building, and positive group interaction. On warmer days, this may include a little water play, adding some splashy fun and helping dogs stay cool and comfortable while they enjoy their time with friends.
Wind-Down
As the day draws to a close, dogs enjoy a slower-paced wind-down period with their friends and carers. After a full day of activity and enrichment, most pups are happily tired, content, and ready for a peaceful afternoon nap.
Home Time
Whether you’re collecting your dog in person or they’re heading home via our safe and secure Pet Taxi, you’ll be greeted by a relaxed, settled, and happily tired companion after a rewarding day at Southern Highlands Doggy Daycare.
What Our Customers Say
"I would 100% recommend PET Resort SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS I have a Saint Bernard who needs to be housed in airconditioned. Accommodation Pet resorts Southern Highlands ticks all the boxes . It is the only boarding facility that consistently returns her to me in the same condition as I gave her to them. She is always happy to be dropped off . Every other place she has dropped significant amounts of weight . She is washed and blow dried the day I pick her up . I get photos sent to me and updates. They are exercised in gorgeous country surrounds and you can not call them dog runs as it is all grass and trees. There is always the same staff so there is continuity. Anything you ask of them is never a problem . Saints tend to be needy and can be prone to fretting . This have never happened at the SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS Pet Resort She loves the staff, the accommodation and the surrounds .. what more could you ask for The first 4 photos were sent to me from her last stay at Southern Highlands Pet Resort January 2026"

"Our dog, Phil, really enjoyed his 5 week stay. Whenever we drop him off at the resort he is happy and excited. When we picked him up he was well-rested, fresh and ready to go. Tahlia rang us up after a week to see how he was going. The special offer during July and August made us happy, too 😊 Good service, nice people 😊"

"We brought our groodle Kirby here for her first ever time at boarding, and were very happy with the care at Pet Resorts. The staff were incredible and got in touch when she was a bit anxious on her first day to check in. During her week stay we loved seeing the images of her on their Instagram - a bit of peace of mind and great to see our crazy girl having a fun time. Can tell the team really love animals, and we will absolutely be bringing Kirby here on our next holiday!"

"As a devoted pet parent, finding a reliable and loving environment for my fur babies has always been a top priority. I had the opportunity to experience Pet Resort Southern Highlands, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment we walked through the doors, I was greeted by warm and welcoming staff who clearly understand and love animals. The resort is impeccably clean and organized, giving me immediate peace of mind knowing my dog would be in a safe environment. They offer a variety of accommodations, from cozy individual suites to spacious play areas for socializing with other pets. One of the highlights of my experience was the personalized attention my boys received. Additionally, they offered daily updates, including photos , which reassured me that my dog was thriving during his stay. Pet Resort SH policy on group play is impressive; they assess the temperament of each pet to create a harmonious and enjoyable play environment. When it came time to pick up my boys, I was overjoyed to see how happy and relaxed they were It was evident that they had been well cared for and had made new friends during their stay. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Pet Resort Southern Highlands for pet owners seeking an enriching and reliable environment for their furry companions. With their attentive staff, clean facilities, and engaging activities, it’s clear that they prioritize the well-being and happiness of the pets in their care. I’ll definitely be returning, and I’m sure my boys are already looking forward to their next vacation at Pet Resort Southern Highlands!"

"My Cavoodle Pepper just spent 4 weeks at the resort while we were overseas. He had the time of his life judging from the pet postcards. Lots of friends to play with and lots of ball games with his pet nannies. He has come back, rested, well fed and bathed. He has settled back home really well. Highly recommended for short and long stays 👍"
